These are not the werewolves of Hollywood. They are something rawer — the transformation caught mid-moment, muscle tearing through skin, humanity giving way to something older and more honest. The Werewolfs series is Erick Sosa’s original work, sculpted entirely by hand in Los Angeles without reference to any franchise or licensed property. Four angles were not enough to show everything this piece contains, so we shot four. Each one is a numbered original, cast in high-grade polystone resin, hand-signed and inspected before it leaves the studio. This is the kind of work you put on a shelf and then spend the next ten years explaining to everyone who walks into the room.
